What we do
We partner with groups of GPs to provide high quality NHS services through locally led GP provider companies (GPCos). Together with our GP partners, we’ve developed a wide range of community-based NHS services that deliver financial savings, excellent patient care and service innovation.
- We support 25 GPCos across the country representing just under three million patients
- We provide local NHS services, so that the care our patients receive is free at the point of delivery
- We operate over 60 services including community-based intermediate NHS services, GP-led walk-in and healthcare centres, urgent care centres, out of hours, community diagnostics and GP practices
- We support each partnership by providing all the necessary expertise to make them successful providers of high quality, innovative healthcare services
- Each GPCo is run by a Clinical Management Board (CMB) consisting of locally elected GPs and one of our representatives
- Each GPCo is owned 50% by the local GPs and 50% by us
