Overview
Assura Cambridgeshire LLP is a partnership between 16 local GP practices and Assura Medical, a leading healthcare provider.
The partnership has been developed to create a GP-led provider organisation of NHS services by combining the clinical skills and expertise of the local GPs with the business and service expertise of Assura Medical. Our clinical models enable us to provide integrated care across whole pathways that deliver significant savings for commissioners and streamlined care for the patient.

Our Clinical Management Board (CMB)
The Clinical Management Board is responsible for the overall running of the partnership to ensure that the best possible service is offered within the community. The CMB also assumes responsibility for clinical governance and delivery of the business plan to the day-to-day responsibility of managing and operating the partnership.
Dr Adrian O’Reilly
Dr O’Reilly is the CMB chairman and a GP at Newnham Walk Surgery.
Dr James Howard
Dr Howard is a member of the board and a GP at the Staploe Medical Centre.
Ian Tilston
Ian Tilston is a member of the board and the practice manager at Comberton Practices.
Donna Derby
Donna Derby is a member of the board and a regional general manager for Assura Medical.
Jezz Davies
Jezz Davies is the business director for Assura Cambridge.
Our services
Community Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT)
The Community ENT service is free to all Cambridge patients and is funded by NHS Cambridge. The ENT service provides advice and treatment from a GP with a special interest in ENT with support from an ENT consultant. They will aim to diagnose a condition, arrange any appropriate investigations and provide treatment if necessary.

Ultrasound
The Cambridge ultrasound service is free to all patients, and funded by NHS Cambridge. Ultrasound is a very useful non-invasive test used to help eliminate possible causes and support an agreed diagnosis.
