Overview
Assura East Riding is a partnership between 13 local GP practices and Assura Medical, a leading healthcare provider.
The partnership has been developed to create a GP-led provider organisation of NHS services by combining the clinical skills and expertise of the local GPs with the business and service expertise of Assura Medical. Our clinical models enable us to provide integrated care across whole pathways that deliver significant savings for commissioners and streamlined care for the patient.

Our Clinical Management Board (CMB)
The Clinical Management Board is responsible for the overall running of the partnership to ensure that the best possible service is offered within the community. The CMB also assumes responsibility for clinical governance and delivery of the business plan to the day-to-day responsibility of managing and operating the partnership.

Mr Bugg is the CMB Chairman and a practice manager at Howden Medical Centre.
Dr Fawaz Khoury
Dr Khoury is a member of the board and a GP at St Nicholas Surgery.
Dr Laurent Bare
Dr Bare is a member of the board and a GP at The Grange.
Dr Nick Cross
Dr Cross is a member of the board and a GP at the Howden Medical Centre.
Dr Ric Harrison
Dr Harrison is a member of the board and a GP at the Howden Medical Centre.

East Park Practice
The East Park Practice offers a full general practice service for patients with access to a range of health professionals from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 1pm on Saturday.

Northpoint NHS Health Centre
Northpoint NHS Health Centre offers a full general practice service for patients with access to a range of health professionals from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday and from 9am to 1pm on Saturday.

Story Street Medical Practice and Walk-in Centre
Story Street Medical Practice and Walk-in Centre offers full general practice and walk-in health service for patients. The centre is an 8am to 8pm GP service, open to registered and unregistered patients with or without an appointment, 365 days per year.

Musculoskeletal (MSK)
The service offers consultation, advice and treatment for patients who are suffering problems with joints, soft tissue or muscles requiring hospital treatment or if the condition can be managed with immediate treatment in the community.
There are two types of services available: telephone advice service – patients self-refer to this service for an initial assessment and advice, and rapid access musculoskeletal service which is by GP referral only.

North Lincolnshire Community Dermatology Service
The Community Dermatology Service provides consultation, advice, diagnostics and treatment from a consultant, a GP with a special interest in dermatology or a specialised nurse. It is an NHS service, available free to patients referred by their GP and commissioned by NHS North Lincolnshire.

Ophthalmology
The service offers consultation, advice and treatment to quickly assess if patients have serious eye conditions requiring hospital treatment or can be managed with immediate treatment in the community.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a non-invasive test used to help to eliminate possible causes and support an agreed diagnosis. Patients will be seen by an ultrasonographer who is trained to undertake ultrasounds. Scans include areas such as the abdomen, aorta, neck, pelvis, renal tract and scrotal areas.
