Overview
Assura Liverpool is a partnership between 12 local GP practices and Assura Medical, a leading healthcare provider.
The partnership has been developed to create a GP-led provider organisation of NHS services by combining the clinical skills and expertise of the local GPs with the business and service expertise of Assura Medical. Our clinical models enable us to provide integrated care across whole pathways that deliver significant savings for commissioners and streamlined care for the patient.

Our Clinical Management Board (CMB)
The Clinical Management Board is responsible for the overall running of the partnership to ensure that the best possible service is offered within the community. The CMB also assumes responsibility for clinical governance and delivery of the business plan to the day-to-day responsibility of managing and operating the partnership.
Dr Rauf Kukaswadia
Dr Kukaswadia is the CMB chairman and a GP at Moss Way Surgery.
Dr Roy Lunt
Dr Lunt is a member of the board and a GP at Riverside Centre for Health.
Dr Vinci Ho
Dr Ho is a member of the board and a GP at Old Swan Health Centre.
Debbie Hindley
Debbie Hindley is the business director for Assura Liverpool.
Anita Andrews
Anita Andrews is the regional general manager for Assura Medical.
Our services
Integrated Dermatology and Minor Surgery Service
The dermatology and minor surgery services provide consultation, advice, diagnostics and treatment from a team comprising a locum consultant, GPs with a specialist interest and a specialist nurse. The team is supported by consultant dermatologists. They are NHS services, available free to patients and commissioned by Sefton Primary Care Trust. Referral into the services are via a GP.
The services are delivered in several healthcare buildings in the Community across the Sefton Borough and evening appointments are available.

Gynaecology Service
This service is an NHS service, free to all patients who are referred by their GP and is funded by Liverpool Primary Care Trust.
